How to Trigger Your Own Stem Cells
Part 2 of the Voltage of Vitality Series
by Dr. Kat Lewis
Imagine your body has the ability to rebuild itself—to reverse disease, repair tissue, and even slow aging.
This isn’t science fiction. It’s biology. And it all begins with voltage.
In Part 1, we explored how chronic stress. lifestyle practices, and nervous system dysregulation drain your voltage and push the body into survival mode. We also introduced a staggering scientific fact: just one cubic centimeter of the vacuum (space itself, not outer space, but the space right around you and within you) contains more energy than all the visible matter in the universe (R). That’s the energy we begin to tap into when we enter coherence.
In this post, we’ll go a step deeper and look at how restoring your body’s voltage and polarity can awaken a capability long considered miraculous: your own stem cell potential.
What You’ll Learn From This Article:
- Why regeneration isn’t just a fantasy—it’s built into your biology
- How voltage and polarity drive stem cell activation
- Why scalar energy and resonance matter for true healing
- How tuning into the Unified Field may increase your body’s energy
- The science behind stem cells, mitochondria, and energy flow
- Why nervous system coherence is the master key to regeneration
- How Spiritual Heart Meditations help you “plug in” to a deeper power source
The Science Behind Self-Directed Regeneration
In the 1960s, orthopedic surgeon Dr. Robert Becker began studying salamanders—not because he was interested in newts, but because he was fascinated by their ability to regrow entire limbs. Unlike humans, salamanders can regenerate skin, bone, muscle, and even nerves. Becker discovered that this regenerative ability was driven by bioelectric signals. When he measured the electrical current around a salamander’s wound, he found a strong negative voltage at the injury site. It was this voltage that triggered regrowth.
His pioneering work revealed that regeneration is governed by electrical patterns, not just genetics. He later proved that similar principles could partially restore limb function in mammals—and even began experiments with humans before his funding was cut. His story remains one of the most suppressed and remarkable in medical history. If you’re interested in learning more check out his book “The Body Electric“.
In 2007, Nobel Prize-winning scientist Dr. Shinya Yamanaka discovered that ordinary fibroblast cells could be reprogrammed into pluripotent stem cells using a set of four transcription factors. A fibroblast is a type of cell that contributes to the formation of connective tissue, a fibrous cellular material that supports and connects other tissues or organs in the body. Fibroblasts secrete collagen proteins that help maintain the structural framework of tissues. They also play an important role in healing wounds. (R) This meant that fully mature cells could return to an embryonic-like state and become any other cell type.
Prior to this it wasn’t not understood that differentiated cells could return to being stem cells. This finding changed biology. But it also raised new questions:
What if your body already knows how to do this naturally?
Dr. Jerry Tennant believes it does. Drawing from Dr. Robert Becker’s work on limb regeneration in animals, Tennant suggests that if the electrical potential is high enough (around -75mV, extrapolated from salamander limb regeneration), fibroblasts in the human body may regain stem cell-like behavior and participate in true regeneration. Tennant emphasizes this is the reason we need to be able to activate our parasympathetic nervous system, but he didn’t say exactly why.
This means that healing is not just chemical. It’s an electrical repair problem—and that means the solution starts with energy.
And unless you restore voltage and polarity, no amount of supplements, medications, or surgeries will trigger deep repair.
This is where functional medicine can make a difference. Functional medicine uses a root cause approach to identify the root causes that are driving infections, nutrient imbalances, mitochondrial dysfunction, and other causes that are silently draining your voltage and blocking regeneration in addition to working on your relaxation response, your parasympathetic nervous system. It’s a holistic approach.
When I heard Dr. Tennant say that we could stimulate stem cells at a certain voltage, I had an epiphany. That’s when it all clicked for me: this is why parasympathetic dominance is essential for healing. When we relax deeply, we don’t just calm the body—we allow ourselves to come into resonance with the Unified Field and its high-energy potentials. I realized this was exactly what I had been doing prior to my spontaneous healing—I was creating deep coherence with the field with my Kundalini Yoga practice, Dr. Joe Dispenza’s meditations and releasing limited beliefs. All of this was aligning with the field, and letting it recharge my system from the inside out.
Why Scalar Energy Matters
Tennant emphasizes that once a cell loses its polarity (like a battery that’s lost its charge), the only thing that can reverse it is scalar energy. To help address this, he developed a handheld device called the Tennant BioTransducer, which produces a scalar field designed to restore voltage and polarity to tissues. This device is available through his website and is used in clinical and at-home settings to facilitate energy flow and healing.
What I’d really like you to know about scalar however, is that the Unified Field, the empty space around and interpenetrating the physical body is scalar. Scalar light is non-linear and non-local. This means it doesn’t travel through space—it exists everywhere. And when you create coherence with the space around you and deep within you, you begin to align with this scalar current.
This is why deep states of meditation can reverse polarity. You’re not just relaxing—you’re reconnecting with the source pattern of life itself.
Dr. Joe Dispenza’s work provides real-world evidence of this principle. Thousands of people attending his events have reported spontaneous healings, tissue regeneration, and reversal of chronic conditions—often after entering deeply coherent meditative states. One women reported regeneration of her removed thyroid gland. (R) Brain scans show increased gamma activity, elevated heart-brain coherence, and improved mitochondrial signaling. I attended his event in Cancun in 2018 and three weeks later I had my spontaneous healing event. Where long standing health issues instantaneously healed. (Video below)
Similar to Tennant, Dr. Michael Levin’s (Tufts University) research has also demonstrated that bioelectric signaling can lead to regeneration in tissues that don’t normally regenerate. His findings show that healing is about restoring the electrical informational pattern—not forcing the chemistry. Levin’s work is showing that cells don’t just respond to chemical signals—they follow electrical patterns. He’s been able to manipulate those patterns to regrow tissue and restore normal form.
His ultimate goal is to develop a platform that can instruct the body to regenerate missing or damaged tissue by applying the right bioelectric signals. Instead of using drugs or stem cell injections, his team is working to identify and replicate the specific electrical “blueprints” the body uses to build and repair organs. The hope is to eventually trigger full regeneration of limbs, organs, and other complex systems—simply by replaying the body’s original instructions. Oh, the fascinating things we are learning about ourselves!
This isn’t a free pass to abuse the body—to maintain this energetic pattern the right biochemistry must also be sustained—voltage without nutrients, oxygen, and the ability to remove toxins will not sustain the electrical pattern alone—you still have to address what was causing the loss of voltage so it doesn’t interfere again.

How to Trigger Regeneration Naturally
The idea that coherence with the Field could activate stem cells isn’t just theoretical. Research is beginning to show that coherent energy fields can influence stem cell behavior:
- Low-frequency electromagnetic fields (EMFs) stimulate stem cell proliferation and differentiation by enhancing mitochondrial activity and calcium signaling.(R)
- Bioelectric fields, studied in developmental biology, regulate stem cell activation and tissue repair by creating instructive voltage gradients.(R)
- Scalar environments may promote cellular coherence and DNA integrity, helping restore cells to regenerative states.(R)
These findings support what spiritual traditions have long observed: when we become coherent, we come into contact with a regenerative intelligence far greater than our own.
And in my own practice, I’ve seen this play out time and again. I can often address the majority of a person’s symptoms by optimizing gut health, nutrient status with diet & supplements, hormones, exercise and sleep, but for my clients that can’t settle their minds—or those carrying a backlog of unprocessed emotion—to restore vitality on the deepest level what’s needed is coherence with the Field. You must clear emotional interference, reset your nervous system, and become energetically receptive again. This combined with the lifestyle factors—that’s when the body begins to regenerate effortlessly.
How to Trigger Regeneration Naturally
- Restore voltage by grounding, eating fresh unprocessed food, drinking structured water, and exercising (muscles are your rechargeable battery packs supplying voltage to your organs and tissues)
- Practice Routine Breath work to deliver oxygen and maintain cellular charge
- Meditate to enter parasympathetic mode and align with the scalar Field
- Feel elevated emotions like gratitude, love, excitement and joy—elevated emotions put you in harmonic resonance with the Field.
- Understand your true nature—this alone can reduce fear, dissolve stress, and reorganize your biology from the top down. Why? Because we are the field, expressing as the physical body, when you know yourself as the field, you become it.
And again, working with a functional medicine provider can help you identify and remove voltage-depleting patterns—whether physical, chemical, or emotional—so your system becomes more receptive to healing energy.
To get back to where they truly desire to be, what’s needed is reconnection to the Field. Because the Field carries information, it is an intelligence, the Source of your intuition, it will help you view past issues through a higher perspective that can help people resolve unprocessed emotions whilst calming the nervous system, and come back into coherence with their true nature. When that happens, the body begins to heal in ways that feel effortless.
As researcher William Brown said:
“The biological system is a sustained excitation of the field. You can delineate scientifically how that is occurring because we are indeed field like. We are made of quantum particles, which aren’t really particles at all—they’re excitations of the field, they’re wave functions that stretch through all space and time. That’s what we are made of—we stretch through all space and time.“
What Spiritual Heart Meditations Offer
Once you come into resonance with the Unified Field, something extraordinary happens: your body begins to interact with the field not through force, but through a mechanism called quantum tunneling.
Don’t let that word scare you! Essentially what is happening is when you enter a deep state of stillness and coherence with the space around you and within you, something remarkable happens: your body starts to receive energy in a whole new way.
Think of the Unified Field like a radio station broadcasting infinite energy—but to pick it up, your body has to be tuned to the right frequency.
When you’re stressed, you’re out of tune—like trying to listen to a station with static. But when you relax and come into resonance, it’s like your cells lock onto the signal. Suddenly, the energy flows. Not just from food or oxygen—but directly from the energetic fabric of the universe.
It’s like your cells go from running on a battery to plugging into a power plant.
This is what Spiritual Heart Meditations are designed to do:
to help you tune in—so your body can recharge, restore, and reconnect to the source of its vitality.
In states of deep coherence, your mitochondria benefit directly from the energy density of the vacuum. That’s right—your cells are receiving energy from the field itself.
Recent work in quantum biology suggests that tunneling plays a role in mitochondrial respiration, helping explain how coherence with the field may enhance energy production.
These meditations are designed to:
- Bring the nervous system into deep parasympathetic repair
- Restore voltage and cellular polarity
- Reconnect your awareness to the scalar field
- Activate the body’s regenerative blueprint
As one participant, Crystal, shared:
“I didn’t expect to feel this much better. Not just emotionally, but physically. My health has noticeably improved since starting these sessions.”
You don’t need to micromanage your symptoms. You just need to reconnect with the energy that heals.
This is the art and science of Your Spiritual Heart.
Coming Next: The Unified Field & Consciousness
In Part 3 of the Voltage of Vitality Series, we’ll look at the physics of consciousness and how your perception actually interfaces with the fabric of reality—explaining why beliefs, identity, and coherence aren’t just emotional or spiritual concepts—they’re part of the energetic structure of healing itself.
