For years, I had the sense that I was floating in an ocean of energy—but there was no water. This was after my spontaneous healing in 2018, when the Universe became alive for me. I could feel everything breathe and bounce. The world felt dream-like.
But now, six years later, this experience has deepened beyond what I ever imagined. I don’t just feel this energy outside my body—I feel it inside me. It started by feeling it in my chest and the last few months I can feel it undulating in my brain. A smooth, rhythmic motion like ocean waves through my head. And I now understand: this isn’t just a personal experience…
This is the fundamental nature of reality. The Universe is alive, it is a mind, and we are part of it.
The Hidden Link Between High Performance & Higher Consciousness
Elite athletes, top CEOs, and advanced meditators—three completely different disciplines, yet their brains function in a strikingly similar way.
What’s their secret? Coherence.
Brain scans show that these individuals exhibit greater alpha wave synchronization—meaning a brain wave state characteristic of a state that is relaxed yet highly alert, the usual mental chatter is quiet, enabling:
- Rapid decision-making
- Increased creativity
- Emotional stability under pressure
- Increased intelligence
But here’s what I’d like you to know…
It’s not the brain creating this state—the brain is responding to what your mind is doing. It’s what happens to the brain when someone brings their level of awareness to the Unified Field.
How Your Mind Directs the Brain
While the brain and mind influence each other bi-directionally, it’s the mind that ultimately drives brain function. When the body is physically challenged (like learning how to juggle), the brain adapts and over time coordination and reaction time improve. But when we train the mind—through deep focus, meditation, or deliberate thought patterns—the brain physically rewires itself in response.
Neuroscientific research shows this in action:
Dr. Harald Harung & Dr. Fred Travis studied 20 top managers and 33 Olympic-class athletes, comparing their brain function to mid-level managers and less successful athletes. The results?
- The highest performers had significantly higher alpha wave coherence, meaning different regions of their brains were synchronized and functioned more efficiently.
- Alpha waves refer to neurons firing at 8-12 Hz, creating a state of relaxed alertness. The normal mind chatter is not present, the mind is empty but alert.
- Their prefrontal cortex—the “executive command center”—was highly integrated with the rest of the brain, allowing them to control emotions, make rapid decisions, and sustain deep focus.
Dr. Friedhelm Hummel, the Chair of Clinical Neuroengineering at Swiss Federal Institute of Technology found that:
- Individuals with higher alpha coherence performed significantly better on complex problem-solving and coordination tasks.
- Those with the lowest alpha coherence struggled the most—showing that the brain’s efficiency directly impacts real-world performance.
Further research by Dr. Fred Travis revealed that this is also what happens to the brains of trained meditators:
- Even beginner meditators begin to develop alpha coherence after their first session.
- With regular practice, these changes carry over into daily life, leading to sharper thinking, greater creativity, more intelligent problem solving, and improved emotional regulation.
The Unified Field: The Intelligence Behind the Brain
I’m so excited to share this next part with you! This is so fascinating.
These meditators don’t just develop brain coherence randomly. This is a special type of meditation where they are consciously aligning their awareness with the Unified Field— the seemingly empty space all around us, what physicists now understand as the fundamental structure of reality.
- This field isn’t empty—it is pure energy and intelligence.
- It is the source of all matter, including your brain.
- It is, quite literally, the mind of the universe.
“The stream of knowledge is heading towards a non-mechanical reality; the Universe begins to look more like a great thought than like a great machine. Mind no longer appears to be an accidental intruder into the realm of matter… we ought rather hail it as the creator and governor of the realm of matter.” ~ Sir James Jeans
If we could see at the quantum level, we’d realize that matter is simply space turning in on itself—a concept backed by Nassim Haramein’s research (Spacefed.com).
Just like how a vortex of water spiraling down a drain appears separate from the tub’s water but is still part of it, our bodies seem distinct from the space around us but are actually extensions of the field.
And here’s where it gets even deeper…
Your brain isn’t just functioning on its own—it’s syncing with the intelligence of the field.
How to Train Your Brain to Sync with the Field
The world’s top performers have, consciously or unconsciously, learned to sync their minds with the deeper intelligence of the universe and as a result the brain achieves this level of coherence.
And now, so can you.
Not all meditations allow one to experience this. Only meditations that classify as “automatic self-transcending” lead to this state. Transcendental Meditation is the most well-known method, and the Spiritual Heart Meditations I teach weekly in a group setting is another.
You could say it’s a cross between heart-brain coherence and Transcendental Meditation—a practice that naturally brings your awareness beyond thought and into direct experience of the field.
But meditation itself is just a tool—a way to train your awareness to achieve this state of coherence. Once you understand the process, you can access it anytime, even without a structured meditation practice.
From Thinking to Being
When you practice this type of meditation, you transition from thinking to being—from identifying with the mind to resting as pure consciousness.
And when the mind dissolves, the brain naturally aligns with this state.
With practice, this experience becomes familiar, allowing you to access it at will—anytime, not just in meditation. Eventually, you reach a point where you can achieve this state with eyes wide open, as you go about your daily life.
The Final Transformation: Falling in Love with the Universe
When you begin to experience the world with this level of presence and feel the field—not just understand it intellectually, but experience it directly—you can’t help but fall in love with the world.
You realize you are part of something so beautiful, intelligent, and infinite.
This is why meditation is so transformative. It’s not just about relaxing—it’s about syncing your awareness with the intelligence of the Universe.
And when you do? Your brain shifts. Your mind expands. And life itself begins to flow.
