How the heart’s electromagnetic field may carry your body’s original blueprint—and how reconnecting with it could restore vitality at the deepest level.
Part 3 of the Voltage of Vitality Series
by Dr. Kat Lewis
Is the Heart the Fountain of Youth?
We seek longevity in pills and stem cells—but what if the fountain of youth is already within us? What if the true source of regeneration is the coherent, voltage-rich signal that radiates from the heart?
When I talk about the heart in this blog, I’m not just referring to the anatomical organ. I’m pointing to something more fundamental: the energetic structure—the coherent, electromagnetic field that gives rise to the physical heart.
According to physicist Nassim Haramein at the International Space Federation, all matter emerges from the structure and dynamics of the field—the seemingly empty space that permeates and interconnects all things. When we see matter we are seeing the field and where it is not creating matter we see it as ’empty’ space. It’s not that the field surrounds matter—matter is the result of the field itself organizing into form, through what Haramein calls Planck Spherical Units (PSUs), the fundamental building blocks of this field. PSUs are highly energetic spherical units of energy, quanta. Think of them like the pixels of the universe. This means that the physical body is the expression of a deeper architecture—the field that informs and generates it.
The sole governing agency of the particle is the field. ~ Einstein
Matter is space, becoming organized. ~ Nassim Haramein
The physical heart is a manifestation of that energy. The field comes first, and the physical cells follow. In this model the heartbeat is not just a mechanical pulse—it is the expression of a deeper pattern of information/energy within the field. That pattern, I believe, holds the blueprint for your entire body. The field determines form.
And if the heart is the broadcast point for that original blueprint—how do we re-activate it? What if this isn’t just metaphorical… but biological? Could this be the real fountain of youth—hidden in plain sight, pulsing quietly within us all along? Waiting for our attention?
If these words would ring through the souls of all men and nations, they would know that they have access to the fountain of Eternal Life which flows from God.

The Field of the Heart Starts It All
Most people think of the heart as just a pump. But ancient mystics and modern science are beginning to converge on something deeper: the heart is a rhythmic field of coherent electrical activity, a signal-broadcasting coherence hub—possibly even the source of your body’s original energetic blueprint.
Just as a magnetic field creates a pattern in iron filings, the electromagnetic field of the heart generates form. It is the invisible geometry before the body emerges. The blueprint before the building.
Think of the heart like the conductor of a symphony orchestra. It begins waving it’s baton before any instruments are assembled, and the rest of the body organizes itself in response to its rhythm. The heartbeat isn’t just a mechanical pump—it’s the score that organizes life. The information is encoded in the electrical pattern—like music carried on radio waves.
The SA Node: The First Pulse of Life
During embryonic development, the heartbeat begins before the brain forms. Even before the heart has chambers or valves, electrical activity begins to pulse in the region that will become the sinoatrial (SA) node. This is not just biological—it’s electrical. It’s a coherent signal that carries information to organize what will be form, your body.
Located in the right atrium—centered in the same location described in yogic traditions as the Hridaya, or Spiritual Heart, known as the seat of the Soul or true Self—the SA node is the natural pacemaker of the heart. Anatomically, it sits slightly to the right of the sternum, aligning intriguingly well with Ramana Maharshi’s description of the Spiritual Heart as one finger’s width “to the right side of the chest… clearly visible to the inner eye of an adept… found in the cave of the Heart.”
This suggests that the anatomical and energetic centers may overlap—not just metaphorically, but functionally. It is here that the body’s first coherent signal begins—a signal that may serve as the broadcast point for the original organizing field that informs the development of the entire body.
Even the Bible may have hinted at this deeper truth:
“The heart of the wise inclines to the right, but the heart of the fool to the left.”
— Ecclesiastes 10:2
Long dismissed as symbolic or poetic, such verses take on new meaning when viewed through the lens of consciousness and energy anatomy. What if ancient texts were pointing to a very real physiological and spiritual center—one that modern science is only just beginning to understand?
“He that hath ears to hear, let him hear; and he that hath eyes to see, let him see.”
— cf. Matthew 11:15 / Mark 8:18
Had I not experienced this energy myself—had I not known to even look there—I would have read those words and completely missed what they were pointing to. The energy of the spiritual heart isn’t metaphorical. Once I felt it, and had some context from spiritual texts and Unified Physics I began to understand that this is the pulse of the Divine creating me. Me as an individual, a physical body and mind.
When I first began placing my attention in the heart center—slightly right of center—I felt an empty volume of space, the cave of the heart, there wasn’t much activity. With continued attention to this space however, a blissful field of energy began to shine and emanate from this point. At first it was as though I were observing something other than me—within me, but not quite me.
Over time, that changed. I felt my awareness shift. I no longer felt like I was observing it—I knew it as myself. It was like waking up from sleepwalking, or from a dream, and realizing: oh, the person I thought I was… wasn’t really me. This is who I am. Still me, but a wiser, more whole version—free of limitation and with great clarity of mind. I must emphasize how clear the mind becomes.
It is the I Am state of awareness. And once you experience it, you can’t un-know it. It is our original awareness—what ancient texts called the True Self. The more I paid attention the more I began to realize that I am the Universe, experiencing itself from Kat’s perspective. I began to feel the feeling of myself expand and my brain began to change.
Some scientists believe this region in the SA node may be a point of singularity—a space where coherent energy emerges from the Unified Field and informs the rest of the system. Others have compared its structure to that of the pineal gland—another proposed singularity point—both located at energetic chakra centers. In fact, the other major chakra points are all associated with endocrine glands. Each of the seven chakras may be such singularities, with the heart at the central axis—the zero-point node of the human system.
The SA node’s unique features:
-
Automaticity: It spontaneously generates electrical impulses without input from the nervous system.
-
Heart rate regulation: It sets the heartbeat rhythm that organizes the rest of the cardiovascular system.
-
Nervous system interface: It’s modulated by the autonomic nervous system, yet fundamentally independent
The Heart Has a Brain of Its Own
Inside the heart is a complex network of neurons known as the Intrinsic Cardiac Nervous System (ICNS)—often referred to as the heart’s “little brain.” This intricate web of sensory, motor, and interconnecting neurons operates semi-autonomously, allowing the heart to regulate itself even without input from the central nervous system (CNS).
The ICNS:
-
Interprets local signals from tissues and blood chemistry—such as oxygen levels, pH, and hormone presence
-
Sends sensory information to the brain and spinal cord via afferent pathways (especially the vagus nerve)
-
Modulates heart rhythm in real time based on both internal and external signals
-
Adjusts the firing of the SA node, influencing heartbeat rhythm and timing
The heart isn’t just receiving instructions—it’s also capable of processing information and initiating adaptive responses on its own. Some of these decisions occur even before the brain is fully formed during embryonic development.
This suggests the heart’s intelligence is not an emergent property of the brain—it’s intrinsic. It expresses a deeper organizational field that precedes structure.
Similarly, physicist Nassim Haramein describes how matter is not the starting point of reality, but the result of coherent energy patterns in the Unified Field organizing into form. This understanding mirrors ancient spiritual teachings as well. In the Upanishads, it is said that the true Self—the Atman—resides in the “cave of the heart,” and that from this center, creation is projected outward. The Hridaya, or Spiritual Heart, is not symbolic—it is the interface between the unmanifest and the manifest, between pure consciousness and the world of form.
The early heartbeat, then, is the first expression of a coherent signal emerging from the Field—broadcast through the region where the SA node resides, possibly marking the moment when the blueprint begins to manifest as the cells of a body.
A Nonlocal Blueprint
The heart’s electromagnetic field is the most powerful in the body. It extends several feet beyond the skin and shifts depending on emotional state. According to the HeartMath Institute, this field can entrain the brain, not the other way around. It is an active agent in creating coherence throughout the system.
Biologist Rupert Sheldrake, a pioneering voice in field-based biology, proposed that organisms develop and heal not solely from genetic coding but by tuning into “morphic fields”—nonlocal fields of information that guide biological form. His theory finds support in recent advances in bioelectricity and quantum biology. When viewed this way, the heart becomes a portal, a bridge through which your energetic blueprint manifests your physical form. The yogic understanding of the Spiritual Heart.
A Feedback Loop of Coherence
This gets even more interesting. The SA node generates the initial signal. The ICNS modulates it. But there’s one more participant in the loop: you.
Your conscious attention—your emotional state, your inner awareness—can influence this entire system. The HeartMath Institute has shown that focused attention and feelings of gratitude can change the heart’s electrical pattern, which in turn affects the brain, hormones, and immune system.
Just like a hologram emerges from a coherent laser, your body emerges from a coherent electromagnetic field. Lose coherence, and the image degrades. Restore it—and clarity, vitality, and harmony return. How do you restore it? It’s a combination of Blog 1 and 2 of this series in addition to a daily practice of….
Try It: Return to the Blueprint
Sit quietly.
Place your awareness slight right of the center of your chest.
Breathe gently, imagining the breath flowing in and out of this area.
Feel yourself expand in all directions
You are allowing yourself to become aware of your source, the field.
Imagine a bright white light shining from here.
Now generate the feeling of excitement or joy, feel the light shine brighter.
Stay here. Let your system reorganize.
Practice this ideally 20 min 2x/day and as much as you can throughout the day.
You Are the Field. The Body Is Its Echo.
What I believe—what all the most advanced frontiers of science are beginning to point toward—is that we are not just physical bodies animated by energy.
We are an awareness directing energy fields that organize matter.
The double torus around the human body—a structure echoed at every scale of nature—sets up a feedback loop that broadcasts and receives coherent information. This dynamic field contains your original blueprint. The body is its echo, its expression in form.
But over the course of a lifetime, emotional stress, trauma, and conditioning distort our resonance with this original pattern. We begin to vibrate out of phase with our own design. This dissonance, I believe, is what leads to disease, aging, and emotional problems—not as punishment, but as information: something is off-frequency.
The good news? The blueprint never leaves. It lives in the field. And the heart is how you listen for it. I’ve come to believe that when we bring our awareness to the heart we begin to align with the original, undistorted pattern we were born with. The moment we come back into resonance with this field of energy and information—through meditation, coherence, healing practices, or spontaneous insight—the body begins to reorganize itself around that original signal.
This is what happened in my own spontaneous healing. I believe I had come into close enough coherence with the original field that it allowed an instantaneous energy transfer—what biologist Rupert Sheldrake calls morphic resonance.
Morphic fields, as Sheldrake proposed, are non-local fields of information that shape biological form and behavior. They don’t operate through genes alone, but through resonance with an informational field—a concept that aligns with the Unified Field model proposed by physicists like Nassim Haramein.
The morphogenetic field and the Unified Field seem to be the same. And that’s where the Fountain of Youth comes in.
The double torus is not a metaphor—it is a literal flow of energy. Once you refine your inner awareness enough, you can begin to feel this energy flowing through you, radiating out and spiraling like a living fountain. It’s no wonder so many ancient traditions described vitality as a spring, a river, or a current.
Haramein even describes the vacuum structure of space as a superfluid plasma—meaning the energy of the universe flows like water through vortices. When the body aligns with that natural flow, regeneration isn’t just possible—it’s inevitable.
After my spontaneous healing in 2018, I began to perceive this directly. At that time however, I had no idea what it was. As I placed my awareness on the heart, I could feel what I now recognize as fluid dynamics—I felt as if I was in the ocean but there was no water, just the feeling of waves of energy. Eventually I was able to experience a flow of energy spiraling down from the crown of my head through and around my body. The more I focused on it, the more palpable it became. This is not imagination—it’s perception at a more refined bandwidth. Like tuning into a previously inaudible station, the signal was always there. My senses just hadn’t been calibrated to feel it.
You can watch the dynamics of this flow in this video: https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=416812700930669&ref=sharing (must have a facebook account).
Science is showing us the Fountain of Youth isn’t mythical, but feeling it will be your evidence. The more you practice bringing your attention to your spiritual heart, the more perceptible the flow becomes. And when you feel it, it feels *inexhaustible*.
“The Tao is the great mother: empty, yet inexhaustible. It gives birth to infinite worlds.” —Tao Te Ching, Ch. 6
Science Is Catching Up
We’re entering a time when science is validating what mystics and spiritual traditions have been saying all along—that we are not separate from Source, the Field, and that regeneration begins when we return to resonance with it. Studies on Transcendental Meditation, a meditation technique that helps you create coherence with the field, show that long-term practitioners have younger biological markers, lower cortisol, better brain function, and even gene expression that reflects rejuvenation. Research from HeartMath shows that focusing on the heart enhances heart rate variability and emotional resilience—signs of a body returning to coherence.
Thus science becomes the golden thread upon which the pearls are strung.
Spalding, Baird T.. Life and Teaching of the Masters of the Far East, Vol. 3
But here’s the thing: these studies are powerful, and yet they’ve often been missing one key piece—the structure and physics of the field itself.
When you understand that everything in your body is emerging from an energetic field—and that the double torus is how that field moves and organizes form—something changes. You stop trying to fix the body solely from the outside and instead start tuning into the original blueprint that’s still present in your field. Once you feel it moving through you, it really does feel like a fountain—an endless current of energy restoring you from within.
This knowledge isn’t just interesting—it amplifies the practice. It helps you reach states that were once only accessible to the few. Now, with the convergence of science and inner experience, these states are becoming available to more of us.
The Fountain of Youth isn’t fiction. It’s the inexhaustible flow of life force available when we come into resonance with our true nature. This is what Master’s have called Self-Realization or Enlightenment and it is not just for saints and sages—It’s for all of us.
